ComplexCon [Seating Installation]

The Goal
Create a temporary seating installation for a 3 day pop culture convention that’s flexible enough that it could be stored and re-used in future years.

The Proposal
Use large scaled monochromatic pillows to invoke the concept of a pillow fort. Over the course of the convention guests have the ability to move around the pillows to create their own seating environments as they see fit.

What I Worked On
I was given the pillow concept and was asked to create and oversee the overall design. Work included initial renderings, client facing presentations, the creation of construction documents/details, and overseeing the construction on site and the eventual take down.
